Talk about mushrooms!

The pic on the right is a jellied false coral mushroom. Below is a link to a 17-minute TED talk (see the preceding post, below) about mushrooms. Very worthwhile. Go there and watch it.

I noticed on the right of that page that there's a talk by Amory Lovins. I recommend that one, too, sight unseen. I've been a fan of his organization, the Rocky Mountain Institute for years. ... Well, I went and watched it. Yup, also worth watching, and he tells how to get a free ebook. Maybe I'll review the book in these august pages.

I find your blog brutally fascinating. It is like "Poor Richard's Almanac" with teeth. Is the fellied false coral mushroom poisonous? Could it be used to kill rats? And would therats notice it in their coffee?
