Not sure what to name this post

First, the energy auditing job is going fairly well. I know the subject, give lots of (the same) good advice, see that most people pay a lot more for their utilities than I do (hooray for that atomic fusion furnace we use) and some of the people even buy our services. Have not received an actual check yet, though. And I've put a lot of miles on the car. I'm still looking for a good tech writing contract. I got a GPS! Garmin 760. I have to watch its directions, though. I think it lays in wait, and when I'm in unfamiliar territory, it takes me off the highway, leads me in a spiral, and then puts me back on. My good friend Jack Riepe, of Twisted Roads fame, offered to swap his lighter-than-air pancake recipe for an exotic french toast recipe. As soon as I finish this post I'm going over to farmfamilyrecipes.com to post an exotic french toast recipe. I'll save the story about it for that site, too. It's a good recipe. I have totally wasted all my free time for the past several days reading the web comic Questionable Content. (That link is to the strip I happened to be reading when I started this post.) It's about some post-college singles and their relationships and various angsts. Sometimes the humor is almost as good as Riepe's. Someone recommended it and I got sucked into it, went to the first strip, and started reading serially. I've gotten through several years, and stayed up past several midnights. I'll be glad to get back to being productive again, but I just can't put that thing down. Word of warning: it's PG-18. Val and I took the girls to see Aliens vs Monsters tonight. A fun bit of fluff. And thank you, Jack for keeping after me about posting. As it says in Proverbs, Faithful are the wounds of a friend. Val said tonight that we meaning you guys and us guys) need to have dinner at the Tap Room in Delaware City one of these weekends.

Dear Rogers:

Thanks for the nice mention of my blog and writing style. I'm on the road for business during the first weekend in April, and Easter is on the second weekend. I'm actually doing a ride to Delaware on the third wekend in April (that Saturday) and hope we can hook up.

And I think I am camping during the fourth weekend in April. Imagine that.

Fondest regards,
Jack

Dear Rogers:

I'm just checking in to let you know I dropped by here again today. I find something different in this story every time I read it again.

Fondest regards,
Jack
