My apologies to the three people out there who actually read this blog. It's been a while. Blame it on my recent web-related writing job for Serenity Travel. Have to write two things a day, about travel, a topic about which I actually know nothing. I happen to think the stuff is turning out pretty well, and I've received a couple compliments on it, so I invite you to take a look. Travel with me. And comment. Even give it a plug or two on facebook or someplace.
That said, we just finished a cruise in the Caribbean, and I plan a couple posts on the subject here, from a rather more personal perspective than what you get at Travel with me. This is the first one.
What do you call this type of vehicle?
We found it parked outside a store entrance on St. Kitts. It appears to have a genuine gasoline-powered internal combustion engine. Hydraulic brakes, camber on the front wheels when you turn. Each front wheel articulates separately, for small bumps or ruts, I guess. Looks like a scooter-style automatic tranny. The shiny rectangle in the center is tupperware; I suppose it keeps your bare legs from getting burned by the engine. To give you an idea of scale, the handlebars are about knee height. In fact, here's a shot with my boy on it:

It looks like a wanna-be version of the Dodge Tomahawk- check it out on YouTube!
Hey, just checking in on your blog. Met you at a Matt Bacak seminar in Atlanta last year. How are things going with you? How was your trip. I went to Bhutan in October.
Dear Rogers:
Bregstein and I are going to be your guests for breakfast on Saturday. So now you are writing travel????????? Amazing.
I'm going to read your new column.
Fondest regards,

Dear Rogers:
The green machine in the picture is a lawn tractor. The dead giveaway is the John Deere paint job. By the way, I left a comment tonight at the other place.
Fondest regards,
