I found the missing shots of our shoveled driveway. Okay, so the edges aren't exactly crisp, and the gravel isn't completely exposed, but the kids and I still did a lot of work.
This is a stereo picture—a way to get 3-D. If you're not used to doing this, it takes a little practice, but the effort is worth it.
Cross your eyes (don't uncross them like those magic picture books) while looking at the pictures until you get a third picture in the center. It helps to think about an easily recognizable object in the pictures and watch it come together. Concentrate on that center picture to make it come into focus. When it does, the picture acquires depth, and the effect is realistic and dramatic. This is the photo (if you read the previous post) where you can just see the pickup behind the snowbank.
You should click the picture to get full size. The full size is1024 px wide, easier to see. You can download it if you want to experiment with size, or add a Russian in a bikini, Jack. I apologize for the finger in the corner—I did it on purpose, to shade out the sun. It's easier to ignore the finger than the sun shining in your eyes.
