Out toward the driveway we had quite a few visitors. Still do. We counted at least ten species. The girls practiced braiding their hair. Well, braiding their mom's hair. That's Val.

Belated winter greetings
Someplace I have a couple photos of our crisply shoveled driveway taken right after the second "big" snowfall. Picture neat waist-high vertical walls of snow edging an almost-too-narrow several hundred foot driveway. One shot shows the top of the pickup barely visible over the pile of snow shovelings. Lacking that, here are a few decorative shots.

The picture of the dogs shows the path Val shoveled. You can see that Max is easy to spot in the snow, but hard to spot in the dark. Such as when you get up in the middle of the night. He's a pretty big target, too.

Now let's see if these photos appear next to each other. Should be able to do it with my new wider blog format. I figured out how to tweak the code myself! Not bad for someone who programs only in English, eh? I think I need to get rid of those lines around the pictures. Or tweak the spacing. Or something. Why couldn't it just be a participle? I can fix those...
